First Church in the World

The great theologian William Stringfellow modelled a way of being Christian in the 21st century.  Wherever he went, a friend reminds us, he had a newspaper in one hand and a bible in the other.  Here at First Church we celebrate God who is deeply at work in the world.  Our Missions Board and Special Grants Committee help to deepen our ties with God's work beyond our church walls.
