Welcome to Christian Education!
A Note from Peter Stewart
"Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting." Psalm 100
The Psalmist uses the word everlasting. We could also use words like: endless, infinite or forever. That is a long time! God was there for our grandparents and will be there for our grandchildren. .. and beyond! Let us remember to give thanks to God this day and everyday.
Peace, Peter
For Children:
We have a wonderful youth church program that takes place during church on Sundays. If you would like to be a part of it, please do not hesitate to call Peter Stewart. 978-468-4900
Women's Group:
Changes that Happen/Changes We Make
This is a six-week group for women in which we will explore how we connect to ourselves, our faith and each other during times of transition in our lives. Women of all ages and stages in life are welcome and encouraged to participate! Each meeting will incorporate reading or watching a short piece, a prayerful activity such as meditation, and a facilitated discussion. Some framing questions that we may consider are:
Where am I? With what or against what do I identify? Which identities are sources of pride, joy, hope or of guilt, fear, hesitation? How do we account for all that we are and have been while honoring changes in ourselves and our situations? How do we create new habits?
We will meet on Wednesdays beginning November 5 through December 10 (5 weeks, skipping the Wed. before Thanksgiving) from 4:30-6:00 pm at the church. To sign up contact Lindsey Peterson, Ministry Intern, at lpeterson@hds.harvard.edu or contact the Church Office.
